Welcome to Green Acres Jungle Horseback Ride in Belize Adventure! An exclusive local special for summer fun for those with your own transportation.
Green Acres is located at Mile 36 on the Hummingbird Highway, just 30 minutes from Belmopan on the Hummingbird Highway.  Location nd driving directions are available via whatsapp.

Your wrangler will kick things off with a quick introduction and refresher on communicating with your horse, assessing your comfort level, and giving you an overview of the ride. On the trail, you can request to trot or canter if you’re comfortable.

We ride nose-to-tail when the trail narrows, but otherwise, feel free to ride side-by-side. While riders aren’t tethered, everyone must stay behind the lead wrangler for safety. Racing isn’t allowed to keep things safe for everyone. Join us for a summer break to remember!

DEPARTURE Transfers available on Saturdays & Sundays – front door pickup starts at 10:00am and with drop off at 3:00pm
WHAT TO WEAR T-shirt, capri or short pants
Bring a swimsuit or change of clothes as well as a towel
Sandals or closed toe (no flips flops)
Cap, bug spray, sunblock, and your water bottle
Saddlebags are available to stash your gear
Riding helmets are provided

Welcome

Welcome to Green Acres Ranch!  Your cowboys and horses are waiting for you! Start off with a short but information introduction/refresher on communicating with your horse.  Your wrangler will provide an overview of the trail ride and tips to best enjoy your experience.  One last bathroom call and we’re off!

Adventure Ride with Swimming & Picnic Lunch

Head out on a one-hour jungle ride following the Silver Creek upstream to your picnic and swim stop.  Your pre-selected lunch will be waiting for you at the riverside on arrival. You are sure to enjoy the beautiful vistas that await you in the valley of the Sleeping Giant! Enjoy swimming and lunch at your leisure (up to 2 hours) before mounting your horse for the ride back to the Ranch!
