ATV + Altun Ha and Cave Tubing in Belize – fun and excitement!

All-terrain vehicles (ATVs) are off-road vehicles – follow your guide as you traverse the Belize jungle and open fields!  Enjoy stops along the way to learn about the flora and fauna of the rainforest. Sample local fresh fruits (seasonal).  First-time riders are welcome!

Experience the might of the Maya at Altun Ha. The most spectacular find here was a jadeite carving of the head of Kinich Ahau, the Sun God.  Follow in the footsteps and climb the Temple of the Masonry Altar and stand where Maya priests once stood.

Time for a very refreshing Belize Cave Tubing adventure!  Grab your gear and follow your guide across the river and along the 30-minute jungle walk. At the starting point along the river, ease onto your tube and simply float down the cave system and along the jungle-lined river in the company of your skilled guide. Your float and Cave Tubing Belize tour ends back where you first crossed the river.

WHAT TO WEAR
Bring along sunshades, cap, sunblock, bug repellent
Tshirt and shorts, capris or lightweight long pants along with sturdy and comfortable walking shoes (no flip flops)
Comfortable walking shoes that you don’t mind getting wet – water shoe rentals from cash vendors at the park
Wear a swimsuit under, or pack your swimwear, along with a towel and/or dry change of clothes – changing rooms available at the park.
A plastic bag comes in handy for wet clothes!
