25 Dec – Day 1 | Arrival – Transfer to San Ignacio: 4 nights
Welcome to Belize!  After disembarking your int’l flight, you will proceed through Immigration, Baggage and finally, Customs.  Exit the terminal through large doors on your right to the street-side.  Your guide will be waiting to meet you for the transfer to your hotel in Belize City – the perfect jumping off point for your Belize adventures!

26 Dec – Day 2 | Caracol Maya Temple & Mountain Pine Ridge
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast, then meet your guide at 8:00am for your guided tour of Caracol.  On the return, stop for a refreshing swim stop at the scenic and natural Rio On Pools.

27 Dec – Day 3 | ATM Maya Cave Tour
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast, then meet your guide at 8:00am for your guided tour of the world-famous ATM Maya Cave.

28 Dec – Day 4 | Transfer to Placencia on the coast: 4 nights
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and hotel check out, then meet your guide at 8:30am. Choose any tour option, easily accessible on your transfer between hotels. Whether it is a jungle walk followed by a relaxing cave tube float down the river or an up-close meet-and-greet with the native animals of Belize at the Zoo Sanctuary, it’s a delightful afternoon in Belize.  After your tour, continue en route to your hotel located right on Placencia Beach.  Activity options include any ONE experience from the list below: * Xunantunich Temple * ATV Jungle Ride * Cave Tube * Jungle Canopy Zipline * Maya Chocolate Making

Your hotel is perfectly suited to be outside of the bustle of downtown San Ignacio yet close enough for a stroll or taxi cab to experience the market and other sights and sounds of the town.

30 Dec – Day 6 | Barrier Reef Experience
After breakfast, your taxi transfer will arrive at 8:15am to pick you up for the very short drive to the snorkel shop. Your guide assists with gear sizing then it’s off to the reef (approx. 60mins each way). Enjoy our world-famous Barrier Reef experience and lunch on the beach. Return to shore at approx. 3:00pm.  Upgrades available for Private Reef Fish & Snorkel or Reef Fishing.

31 Dec – Day 7 | Open Day

1 Jan – Day 8 | Departure
It’s time to head home!  Your taxi driver will be in the lobby waiting for you at the hotel lobby for the short drive to the municipal airport.  Hop aboard for the short Cessna flight to the International Airport, arriving approx. 3 hours prior to your international flight departure.

Cancellation & Refund Policy: Vacation Packages | UpClose Belize Ltd

To ensure a seamless experience and the proper coordination of all package elements (including accommodations, tours, and transfers), the following policies apply to all vacation package bookings:

Written Notice Requirement: All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email. The date and timestamp on the written email notice will be used to determine the applicable refund tier.

Tiered Refund Schedule:

60 Days or More Prior to Arrival: Cancellations received 60 days or more before the scheduled arrival date will receive a 100% refund of the total package price, less a non-refundable administrative handling fee of US$100.00 per person.

59 to 45 Days Prior to Arrival: Cancellations received within this window will receive a 50% refund of the deposit paid.

44 Days or Less Prior to Arrival: No refunds will be granted for cancellations received 45 days or less before the scheduled arrival date.

High Season & Holiday Periods: For bookings during Peak Season (including Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s and Spring Break), stricter cancellation windows apply. Cancellations made 90 to 61 days before arrival incur a 10% penalty; cancellations 60 to 46 days before arrival incur a 50% penalty; and cancellations 45 days or less result in no refund.

No-Shows & Early Departures: No refunds or credits will be issued for “no-shows,” early departures, or late arrivals.

Unused Portions: Vacation packages are sold as a complete experience. No refunds or credits are given for any unused portions of a package, including tours, meals, or hotel stays not taken by the guest.

Inclement Weather & Acts of God: While UpClose Belize reserves the right to cancel or reschedule tours due to adverse weather or conditions beyond our control for safety reasons, unused portions of a package resulting from such events or “Acts of God” remain non-refundable and non-transferable. We strongly recommend that all guests purchase comprehensive travel insurance to protect their investment.

Payment Failure: In the event that a final balance payment is not received by the due date (typically 45 days prior to arrival), UpClose Belize reserves the right to cancel the reservation. In such cases, any deposits made are non-refundable.
