Island Departure Instructions: Group assembles in the lobby at 6am sharp. We’ll depart together on one golf cart direct to the airstrip. Mike is in charge of getting boarding passes at the counter on arrival. Everyone’s ticket is under the same flight code: ABCDE011
Tour Description:
Altun Ha is a Classic period ceremonial centre where the famed jade head was found. Climb the steps to the top where the Mayan shamen once stood. Looking down from the top of the temple, it is easy to imagine the majestic splendour of the site.
After the temple, head over to Nohoch Che’en Reserve where we’ll enjoy lunch as well as Cave Tubing & Zip Line!
| DEPARTURE | Departs 7:00am from San Pedro via air. Your guide will be waiting to meet you at the Baggage Claim area on arrival at the terminal. | |||||||
| WHAT TO WEAR | T-shirt and shorts, capris or very lightweight long pants along with comfortable walking shoes is ideal at the temple site. A cap, sunblock, and bug spray can come in handy.
Swimwear under, or pack along with you for the tubing adventure. You will be completely wet, so water shoes or shoes that you don’t mind getting wet. Water shoe rentals are available at the park from cash-only vendors. Bring a towel and dry clothes for a comfortable ride back. |
