The “Maiden of the Rock” is a Classic period ceremonial center, with large plazas ringed with pyramids. The center is composed of six major plazas highlighting the steep but short, 130ft climb to the top of “El Castillo”, the main temple at Xunantunich ruins.

Jungle horseback riding in Belize at its best at Green Acres Ranch!  Whether you are new to horseback riding or an experienced rider – we have the perfect ride for you!  Mount up and ride through the orchards, across the fields, over the rivers, up into the mountains, and through the jungle!

Your wrangler will start off with a short but informative introduction/refresher on communicating with your horse.  Out on the trail, you can request to trot or canter based on your experience and/or comfort level.  We are nose-to-tail where the trail narrows but otherwise, we encourage riding side-by-side.   Riders are not tethered but keep in mind that all riders must stay behind the lead wrangler.   We’ll see you out on the trail!
