Altun Ha is easily accessible from Belize City making it a great choice for a shorter tour experience or even better as a combination tour! The site has been cleared and restored, making it easy to imagine its past glory and wealth as a major ceremonial centre. The most spectacular find here was a jadeite carving of the head of Kinich Ahau, the Sun God.
From there we explore Belize City’s historical past. We’ll visit all the landmarks of the city. Stroll around the sites, take pictures and even visit the Rum Factory of Belize for a rum tasting experience! Stop at gift shops and stores as well – its up to you!
