Treetop Suites: The new Tree Top Suites at Chaa Creek appear to defy gravity as they stand eye level amongst the upper most branches of the majestic hardwoods that surround them along the steep forested banks of the Macal River in Belize's Cayo District. The large and airy suites combine elegance with a unique sense of adventurous design as they compete with nature for a panoramic birds-eye view of the encircling jungle landscape.  The full amenity one-bedroom suites, with their own private Jacuzzi perched upon stargazing verandas, offer the perfect romantic setting for the honeymoon couple. The suites can also easily accommodate family groups with comfortable sleeping arrangements for four. The tree top suites, under an enormous canopy of thatch, extend an extraordinary experience to nature lovers who want to take part in the many rainforest activities that award-winning Chaa Creek has to offer in a graceful and unparalleled style.

Garden Jacuzzi Suite: The Complete Garden Suite for those looking for an extra luxurious rainforest stay. Imagine a spacious thatched roof cottage surrounded by private tropical gardens, affording an extra measure of comfort and a beautiful, quiet ambience. The cottage consists of two separate suites (one with a private Jacuzzi) with a connecting door. The suites may be rented separately, or as an entire package. We offer three different options for this unique experience. The Garden Jacuzzi Suite is furnished with a four-poster mahogany bed, fine linens, Guatemalan antique armoire, a spacious bath with Jacuzzi and a private screened verandah with jungle garden.  The Garden Suite is furnished with a queen-size bed and a day bed that converts from a couch into a single bed. This room also has a private, screened verandah and lovely views.  The cottage also features a common verandah with hammocks overlooking the gardens. Both rooms have ceiling fans, lamps, reading lights and are fully screened. They offer a level of private, casual luxury exceptional even by Chaa Creek's standards.

The Orchard Villa: Designed with families in mind but it can comfortably accommodate two couples be they relatives or friends, or simply individuals that are looking for a lot of space within a tropical setting. This large thatched building transforms into a comfortable sleeping and lounge area with the potential to accommodate a family of six. Two queen-size sleeping bays are separated by closeted walls, a full bathroom and a winding staircase.  The loft upstairs has two single beds and its own private bathroom. A screened in sitting room offers lovely views of its surrounding tropical gardens and it overlooks the orchard situated along the Macal River Valley.

Chaa Creek's Cottage Collection: Carefully tucked away amidst lush tropical gardens along the verdant banks of the Macal River in the foothills of the ancient Maya Mountains.  Individually designed thatched cottages reflect an atmosphere of elegance where charmingly decorated rooms and suites offer fine fabrics, furnishings and antiques. The spacious accommodations include private sun deck verandahs for viewing wildlife and interacting with nature. Staffed by professional individuals who value your stay as much as you do, and with only 23 distinctive spaces, this romantic little lodge blessed with understated Belizean charm and a spectacular jungle setting guarantees a unique and truly intimate experience.

The Macal Cottage: The starring attraction in Chaa Creek’s award winning cottage colony.  Perched on the edge of a grassy knoll overlooking the sleepy Macal River, the cottage blends stylish simplicity and elegant furnishings to create a romantic ambiance in a stunning rainforest backdrop. Nestled amidst tropical gardens, the spacious accommodation with its king sized bed, oversized day bed and leisure furniture also includes two private terraces for relaxing in hammocks or enjoying the outdoor Jacuzzi al fresco. Naturally perfect for families this charming cottage colony is just as popular with couples.

Spa Villa: The new three bedroom Spa Villa is set within a tropical hillside garden in the foothills of the Maya Mountains features a master bedroom with a king size bed and en suite bathroom. A second bedroom with a queen and single bed and a third bedroom with a queen canopy bed share a full bathroom.  Guests can enjoy a panoramic view of the lush jungle surrounds of the Macal River Basin from the spacious glass walled living room and large wrap around veranda with Jacuzzi.  Professional massage treatments are also on offer in the comfort and privacy of the Spa Villa lodging. The air-conditioned Villa contains a full kitchen and guests also have the choice of ordering a variety of delicious meals prepared by the lodge’s resident chef at the Chaa Creek restaurant.  Cocktails are offered all day long at Chaa Creek's verandah bar while guests can also enjoy beverages available in the villa's own stocked bar. With other amenities including fresh flowers, tasteful art, a quality sound and media system, the new Spa Villa raises Chaa Creek’s international reputation for jungle luxury to a new level.

Macal River Camp: Set high on the river's lush banks, close to the ancient Mayan ruins of Tipu and Xunantunich, is The Macal River Camp. Scattered throughout tropical rainforest are ten casitas, or small bungalows, each on a raised platform with airy peak-roofs, full screens and containing two or four comfortable beds. Each casita has a private sheltered porch for quiet relaxation and peaceful views into the undisturbed jungle habitat. The Macal River Jungle Camp provides an ideal base from which to explore the nature and culture of western Belize.  The Macal River Camp combines comfort with a genuine jungle experience. With swimming, canoeing, miles of well maintained trails, a Butterfly Farm, Natural History Centre, and scheduled day tours to Xunantunich, Caracol, Tikal, the Mountain Pine Ridge, and the Chumpiate Maya Cave, your stay is guaranteed to be both adventurous and educational.  The camp provides shared bathrooms with hot water showers, and clean, comfortable facilities. Friendly local staff serve traditional Belizean meals in a spacious central thatch-roof palapa where travelers can relax and swap tales with new friends over an ice cold Belikin beer.  The river camp has been designed for outdoors people who enjoy rustic accommodations in a remote setting. Comfortable beds with clean linens, pillows, towels and blankets assure a good night's rest after a day bush walking, canoeing, or other rainforest activities. Vehicle traffic into the camp is restricted, and every effort has been taken to minimize the camp's impact on the natural surroundings.
